Deborah Sherrell

Deborah Sherrell is a freelance writer and humanitarian who has communicated effectively over the years in many capacities. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA in a premed major. She also completed post-baccalaureate studies in medical microbiology, art and real estate.

Humanitarian efforts have included several hundred community service hours spanning the past twenty years. Major examples include: The Imagination Celebration of Orange County Festival of Arts Junior Art Exhibit, American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, American Heart Association's Push for Life, Laguna Hills High School Grad Nite volunteer, and past Laguna Hills High School Music Boosters Vice President and editor of the newsletter. A portion of future proceeds from her books will be donated to children's charities worldwide.

Her love for sharing stories is self-evident in her first published children's book, Baby Lauren and Theodore. Plans are in the works for several more children's books, as well as a nonfiction love story.

A widow and mother of three adult children, she is a native of California, where she currently resides.
